Our processes
At Hazisa, we specialise in alkaline electrolytic frame galvanising
We specialise in alkaline zinc electroplating processes, o ering tailored solutions through various passivation options and post-treatments. We guarantee optimal protection against corrosion and a high-quality finish for metal parts in demanding environments.
Passivations are processes whereby electrolytically treated metal surfaces are given increased corrosion resistance by means of Cr III-based protective coatings applied through a non-electrolytic chemical immersion process.
Passivation methods vary according to the level of corrosion protection and the desired cosmetic finish.
The properties of passivation can be improved by the application of a sealant. These top coats provide not only increased corrosion protection, but also a more uniform surface finish.
There are various passivation options, suited to each type of finish, all of which are Cr VI-free.
Zinc-plated without passivation.
Unpassivated zinc plating is a process in which metal parts are coated with a layer of zinc to protect them from corrosion, but without any additional passivation treatment. This type of coating provides basic protection against rust.
Blue passivated zinc plating
CrVI-free blue passivation is a treatment applied after electrolytic zinc plating to provide corrosion resistance without the use of hexavalent chromium, in compliance with current environmental regulations. This process creates a bluish protective layer that increases the durability of the coating.
Passivated iridescent zinc plating
Thick film iridescent passivation (Ecotri) provides superior protection, ideal for demanding applications in corrosive environments, extending the life of metal parts without the use of hexavalent chromium.
Black passivated zinc plating + sealant.
Sealed black passivated zinc plating is a process that applies a zinc coating followed by black passivation and final sealing, offering excellent corrosion resistance and a uniform dark cosmetic appearance.
Thick layer passivated zinc plating + sealant
Trivalent passivated thick film zinc plating with sealant is a highly protective treatment combining a zinc layer with a trivalent chromium passivate and a final sealant. This process complies with environmental regulations and provides even greater corrosion resistance. It is ideal for parts exposed to extreme conditions, ensuring superior durability and finish without the use of hexavalent chromium.
